Parts, Patterns, and Perspective: BioGraffs in Clinical Practice This 3-hour hands on workshop is for mental health professionals who want to incorporate BioGraffs into their work with individuals, couples, and groups. Whether you’re looking for a fresh way to approach difficult topics or a powerful, experiential method to enhance your client sessions, this course will give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to use BioGraffs effectively. WHAT TO EXPECT Your instructor is Jennifer Beman, founder and creator of the BioGraffs method of visual storytelling. This workshop will be highly interactive, with time for everyone to try the method on their own, role-playing exercises share BioGraffs and practice interpreting, and group discussion on use cases and the experience of BioGraff creation. Over the course of the workshop, you'll learn: 🟩 When to Use BioGraffs: Learn when and how to introduce the method for maximum impact. 🟪 Crafting Prompts: Discover how to craft prompts that resonate with your clients' goals. 🟦 Introducing BioGraffs to Clients: Its simpler than you might think. People get it! 🟥 Facilitating the Process: how to guiding clients as they create and share their BioGraffs. 🟨 Addressing Questions: Gain confidence in responding to common client questions. 🟧 Interpreting BioGraffs: Learn how to help clients reflect on and explore their creations. 🟪 Using BioGraffs with Couples: Understand how BioGraffs as active listening support. 🟩 Working with Groups: Strategies for using BioGraffs in workshops and other groups. If you don't want to invest in the lovely boxed set with wooden magnetic cubes, whiteboards, and helpful visual aids, you can learn the method, and use your own materials with clients For this workshop, you have 3 participation options: 🟩 $170 for a live, three-hour seminar PLUS the BioGraffs Mag Plus to keep 🟥 $80 for the seminar alone. Cancellation Policy
Sessions can be cancelled with 24 hours notice. You can reschedule, or request a refund of the amount for the session. The cost of $97 for the BioGraffs set, if included and already sent, is non-refundable. BioGraffs is committed to providing a high-quality educational experience and maintaining professional standards in all continuing education programming. We welcome feedback and take participant concerns seriously. If a participant has a complaint or dispute related to any aspect of a BioGraffs program, the following procedure applies: Informal Resolution Participants are encouraged to first address any concerns directly with the workshop facilitator, either during or immediately following the session. Many issues can be resolved informally through direct communication. Formal Complaint Submission If the issue is not resolved informally, the participant may submit a written complaint within 14 days of the program’s conclusion. Complaints should be emailed to [info@biograffs.com] with the subject line “CE Complaint” and must include: The participant’s name and contact information The date and title of the program A detailed description of the concern The desired resolution or outcome Review and Response The complaint will be reviewed by the program director within 10 business days. A written response will be provided, outlining any findings, actions taken, or steps for further resolution. Appeal Process If the participant is not satisfied with the outcome, they may request a secondary review. A final determination will be made within an additional 10 business days. All decisions at this stage are final. Recordkeeping All complaints and related correspondence will be documented and retained for a minimum of five years in accordance with NBCC guidelines. BioGraffs values transparency, fairness, and participant satisfaction. We are committed to continuous improvement and resolving all complaints in a timely, respectful manner.
